American Cruise Lines is sharing more details about American Encore, its new riverboat slated to launch on the Columbia and Snake rivers next month.
The vessel will set sail May 5 and will be christened May 12 at a new dock in Lewiston, Idaho, which American Cruise Lines built to accommodate its expanding operations in the region.
American Encore is the newest ship in the line’s modern riverboat fleet. Sister ships American Anthem (2027) and American Grace (2028) will soon join the vessel on the Columbia and Snake rivers.
The 180-guest American Encore will have five decks, a four-story atrium, a grand dining room and casual café, multiple indoor and outdoor lounges, top deck lounge and outdoor walking track, large gym, free laundry room and elevators.
The ship will also introduce American’s newest stateroom category, the 1,500-square-foot Signature Suite, featuring a wrap-around balcony, panoramic views, separate living and sleeping spaces and a hotel-sized bathroom with soaking tub and heated floors.
Later this year, American Cruise Lines will launch two more small cruise ships, American Maverick and American Ranger, followed by American Mariner and American Navigator in 2027.
