Riviera River Cruises is set to unveil two groundbreaking ships, Riviera Radiance and Riviera Rose, on Europe’s great rivers and waterways in 2025, marking a significant milestone in the company's history. One of these will also become the first in a new generation of luxurious vessels that will feature the line’s largest-ever suites, a third onboard dining option and a split-level bar and restaurant.

The introduction of these ships signifies a departure from the tradition of naming vessels after famous British writers, opting instead to showcase the Riviera name prominently for improved branding. “With Riviera Radiance and Riviera Rose, our new ships launching in 2025, we’re moving away from using the names of famous British authors and proudly putting our own out there on the bow,” said Marilyn Conroy, Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing North America for Riviera River Cruises.

Conroy continued, “Riviera Radiance will also be a new style of ship representing the height of luxurious river cruising. Its split-level bar and restaurant will give it a spacious feel, its third restaurant will offer unique tasting menus and it will also have the largest suites in our fleet. We’re looking forward to sailing aboard these new ships with you next year.”

Riviera Radiance

Measuring 443 feet in length, Riviera Radiance will redefine luxury river cruising with its innovative design, including guest cabins spread over four decks and unparalleled amenities. The new split-level bar and restaurant will benefit from and open and airy ambiance; and be complemented by a third restaurant, Mosaic, which will feature unique tasting menus inspired by locations along the rivers of Europe. Other luxurious onboard amenities will include a pool with sun deck, open-kitchen bistro, fitness center, and spa and wellness area.

The ship will accommodate 178 passengers across 89 cabins, each meticulously designed for comfort and elegance. All will feature double beds that can convert to twin beds and such sumptuous amenities as rain showers, desks and chairs, flat-screen TVs, individual air conditioning, coffee machine, tea kettle and more.

Grand suites—the line’s most spacious suites ever at 344 square feet—will boast expansive balconies with sliding doors and outdoor seating, sofa and seating area, lounge chairs and small tables. Meanwhile, Superior suites will measure 258 square feet and will include a French balcony with sliding doors, a seating area with lounge chair and a small table. Double cabins will span 172 square feet and will also feature a seating area with lounge chair and small table.

Riviera Rose

The somewhat more compact Riviera Rose, measuring 262 feet long, will offer a more intimate cruising experience with its cozy atmosphere and understated elegance. The ship will feature a sun deck with a sky lounge, a pool and bar, a fitness center and a relaxed restaurant with informal seating.

Riviera Rose’s 57 cabins, capable of accommodating 114 passengers, will also be spread out over four of the ship’s decks. As on Riviera Radiance, all cabins will feature double beds than can be converted to twin beds and similar amenities, such as rain shower, desk with chair, flat-screen TV, individual air conditioning, coffee machine, tea kettle and more.

Balcony suites will measure 258 square feet and will have a French balcony with sliding doors and outdoor seating, and a seating area with sofa, lounge chair and small table. Standard cabins will span 172 square feet and will have a seating area with lounge chair and small table. Upper- and middle-deck standard cabins will have a balcony with sliding doors, while lower-deck standard cabins will have a smaller fixed window.

Both Riviera Radiance and Riviera Rose will exemplify Riviera River Cruises' commitment to providing exceptional value and unparalleled service. With inclusive fine dining experiences, expert-led excursions and spacious accommodations, these new ships promise an unforgettable journey through Europe's most captivating destinations.
