Scenic
Group has unveiled two American Mah Jongg cruises designed to combine
luxury river travel with community and connection.
The sailings will take place aboard Emerald
Cruises in August 2027. The itineraries will combine immersive journeys
through Europe’s waterways with dedicated Mah Jongg programming in a social and
elevated river cruise setting.
Using the National Mah Jongg League’s annually updated card,
American Mah Jongg incorporates the interactive game’s signature elements
including jokers and Charleston tile exchanges. Designed for players of all levels
of experience, the sailings will feature guided play, hosted sessions,
instructional opportunities and curated social events.
The cruises also include curated shore excursions,
regionally inspired cuisine, premium onboard amenities and an intimate sailing on
the Danube River past some of Europe’s most iconic landmarks.
The first eight-day sailing departing August 4, 202,7 travels
between Budapest and Munich with port calls in Bratislava, Vienna, Dürnstein
and Passau. The second sailing, departing on August 11, 2027, operates the same
itinerary.
