Boutique River Cruises has announced the newest addition to its Holiday
Collection for the 2025 season with a brand-new itinerary along the Seine.
The seven-night ‘Magical Parisian Holiday’ will set sail
from Paris aboard the S.S. Joie de Vivre, enabling guests to enjoy the French
countryside along with visits to decorated châteaus, festive French Christmas
markets and curated shopping experiences.
“The holidays are such a special time for families and loved
ones to come together, and France is truly one of the most spectacular
backdrops for a festive getaway,” says Ellen Bettridge, President and CEO of
Uniworld.
She added, “For the 2025 season, we’re thrilled for guests
to experience this new addition to our Holiday Collection. It’s a fresh way to
experience this magical season aboard a decked-out floating
boutique hotel that immerses guests in French holiday traditions.”
After setting sail, the ship will arrive in Versailles for a
private tour before visiting cities throughout the French countryside that
include activities such as a walking tour of Rouen, home to Monet’s famous
studio, a visit to a Normandy Cider Farm, private choral performance in Rouen
Cathedral and a ‘Make Travel Matter’ experience with a local family preserving traditional
broom weaving.
Other events feature a private reception at Château de Bizy
and an exclusive Uniworld-only event at Château le Vaux le Vicomte, the
inspiration for Versailles. Additionally, guests can explore Europe’s iconic
Christmas Markets and various Paris markets and the countryside to sample vin
chaud (French mulled wine) and browse Christmas decorations, regional produce
and specialties from all over France.
Bringing the French culture and 20th century
Parisian design to life, the S.S. Joie de Vivre features antiques, original
artwork and distinctive accents. The 128-passenger ship includes a spa and
wellness center, bar and entertainment venue, and a Parisian-style sidewalk cafe.
Guests can also pre-book a seven-course meal preparation experience with one of
Uniworld’s chefs.
Along with festive décor, an idyllic Christmas ambience, the
sailing is all-inclusive with meals, beverages and excursions outside of
Masterpiece Collection options.
In addition to its ‘Magical Parisian Holiday,’ Uniworld is
offering six additional 2025 European itineraries, themed voyages including a ‘Women-Only
Cruise,’ the inaugural sailing of the S.S. Elisabeth and more with four
departures in both 2025 and 2026.
