We are talking about TripSafe, a device getting some love on Indiegogo at the moment that promises a wealth of safety measures for those worried about their well being away from home.

The device has a month to go in its campaign and has already raised over $10,000, which leaves another $35 thousand to go in its funding round.
You can pre-order your own, which is promised to be ready by February 2017. Currently, the Early Bird: TripSafe is still available. It gives you a TripSafe in one of three colors for $135.
As noted in the video, you can have this device playing back at your hotel room to ensure a bit of security for the gadgets and keepsakes you left behind.
It also allows you to monitor the room while you sleep if you happen upon what seems like an opportune lodging in a place you just aren't sure about.
With a camera and the capability to stream to your device, TripSafe answers a giant call for those worried about safety while on the road.
There is even a feature that will contact authorities if need be. The fact that it's relatively small makes this the kind of gadget that you can keep stowed away in your luggage.
