Travelers are ready to go all out on their trips. Luxury tour operator Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) has seen growing demand for its around-the-world journeys by private jet, and the tour operator is responding, opening bookings for its Cultural Treasures: Around the World by Private Jet.
“Since the return to travel, we have seen an increase in demand for longer, more immersive trips–especially our Private Jet journeys, which were the first and fastest to fill,” said Ann Epting, senior vice president, private jet and special interest travel. “Travelers have been starved for the type of cultural experiences that can only be found in these extraordinary destinations-and are eager for the chance to cross seven different places off their bucket list in just 24 days.”
The journey has space for 48 guests who will have the opportunity to discover some of the world’s most fascinating peoples, places and celebrations alongside experts handpicked for their deep understanding of the cultures that created them.
The itinerary, which departs on May 6 and concludes May 29, 2023, begins in Seattle and includes Kyoto, Japan; Kathmandu and Mount Everest, Nepal; Paro, Bhutan; Agra, India; Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirate; Petra and Wadi Rum, Jordan; Taormina, Sicily; and Boston.
Guests enjoy travel by private jet onboard A&K's luxury Boeing 757, which features custom-designed Italian leather seats equipped with a personal massage system, four-way adjustable headrests and lumbar support, that open into lie-flat beds.
Exclusive experiences include a visit to Mount Everest by helicopter, a pilgrimage hike up to Tiger’s Nest Monastery, a royal banquet in Agra and a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, a celebration of Samarkand’s Silk Road heritage in Uzbekistan, stops at Wadi Rum and the Treasury of Petra and more.

Accommodations are in world-class hotels and resorts such as the Oberoi Amarvilas in Agra and the Villa Igiea, a 19th-century palazzo at the foot of Mount Pellegrino, on the Gulf of Palermo.
The 24-day journey starts at $153,900 per person, double occupancy.
