B-Corp-certified adventure travel company Intrepid Travel has reported the strongest annual performance in its 37-year history, with record bookings, revenue, and customer satisfaction in 2025.
The operator’s 2025 Integrated Annual Report also shared its highest-ever community investment through The Intrepid Foundation, demonstrating the positive power that authentic, meaningful and responsible travel has on the world.
Last year, Intrepid saw a 26 percent increase in bookings revenue, totaling $620 million. Revenue increased 29 percent from 2024, reaching $575 million. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) grew 26 percent, with $7.5 million disbursed in employee bonuses.
Intrepid’s future goals include providing dividends to eligible shareholders and increasing employee shareholding to 20 percent. Due to the company’s growth and efficiency, its Net Promoter Score dropped by 10 points to 54, highlighting an area for future focus.
The Intrepid Foundation disbursed $2.4 million to community and conservation partners last year. Becoming a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Americans who make donations to the foundation can now enjoy tax deductions for their support.
The foundation also inked a new partnership with the National Parks Conservation Association and the Trust for the National Mall, and made a $50,000 fundraising disbursement to the Grand Canyon Conservancy. It also rewrote its Climate Action Plan to prioritize decarbonization.
“Our 2025 performance shows that it is possible to grow a resilient, profitable business while staying true to our values – even in the face of global uncertainty,” said Intrepid’s CEO, James Thornton. “At a time when the world is more divided than ever, I’m incredibly proud that more travelers are choosing to experience the world the Intrepid way. These results are testament to our team, who deliver exceptional experiences for our customers while creating positive impact for communities.”
Intrepid has been prioritizing growth in North America, with plans to make the region its largest global market by 2030. Intrepid saw 5 percent growth in this region in 2024, and Canada saw the biggest growth at 25 percent.
Global satisfaction also reached the highest level in company history, with an average Net Promoter Score of 83 globally.
