Tauck has added gorilla trekking to its tour options for 2019.
The tour operator will offer three nights in the Rwandan Highlands to travelers headed out on its new 13- and 16-day adventures.
The two new small-group journeys begin with multi-day safari experiences in Tanzania's Serengeti Desert and conclude with gorilla trekking in Rwanda.
The 16-day itinerary includes an additional safari opportunity in Kenya while the 13-day trip heads to Zanzibar.
Both itineraries are part of Tauck's Earth Journeys portfolio, offered in partnership with the documentary filmmakers at BBC Earth.
Tauck's Mountain Gorilla Safari: Kenya, Tanzania & Rwanda 16-day trip will operate next year on May 29 and December 14. This is in addition to the August 14, 2019, journey that is already sold out.
The 13-day itinerary, Mountain Gorilla Safari: Tanzania, Zanzibar & Rwanda, will also have three departures in 2019-July 29, September 2 and December 30.
