Adventures by Disney announced Thursday that it has expanded its Short Escape vacations lineup for 2019, including three new international destinations with Boston, London, and Vancouver.
The Short Escape vacations are two- to four-night adventures to destinations that can be booked as stand-alone getaways or as add-ons to other vacation plans. The services of two Disney-trained Adventure Guides ensure guests enjoy the once-in-a-lifetime vacation.
The Boston Short Escape vacation is dubbed “Best of Boston – Past and Present” and is available on select dates in May through October 2019. The new four-day, three-night itinerary will take travelers on a private guided tour along the Freedom Trail, the Old North Church, the Boston Tea Party Ship & Museum, the Charles River, Harvard Yard, and Thompson Island.
In London, Adventures by Disney guests will enjoy a three-day, two-night vacation that can be booked as a stand-alone vacation or as a pre-cruise add-on to Disney Cruise Line sailings out of nearby Dover, England.
The new London Short Escape is available on select dates in July, August and September 2019, and will feature experiences that include a private viewing of the Royal Crown Jewels, a high-speed thrill ride in a boat along the River Thames, a privately guided tour of Westminster Abbey and the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace.
As for travelers who choose the three-day, two-night Short Escape itinerary in Vancouver, they will enjoy unique experiences, such as ziplining at Grouse Mountain, a private tour at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and a morning bike ride through Stanley Park.
The Vancouver itineraries are available on select dates in May through September 2019.
Adventures by Disney is also offering returning Short Escapes to New York City, San Francisco, Southern California, Wyoming, Barcelona and Rome in 2019. The itineraries include all accommodations, tickets and admissions, transportation within the destination, luggage handling, snacks, and most meals, as well as the services of two dedicated Adventure Guides.
