10 Things Visitors Need To Know About Disneyland's Avengers Campus

Disney's California Adventure Park is welcoming the Avengers. The new Avengers Campus, which was supposed to debut during the pandemic in summer 2020, is finally opening on June 4, and Spider-Man, Iron Man, Doctor Strange and their superhero friends will all be on hand to delight guests in this immersive new land.

The first thing you need to know is that WEB Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure is Avengers Campus newest ride and visitors will need to join a virtual queue to ride it.

Similar to Rise of the Resistance in Disneyland, the queue for WEB Slingers can be joined via the Disneyland App.

On the main page of the app, visitors should scroll down to "Virtual Queue" and "join a boarding group" on the day of their reservation. Boarding groups open at 7 a.m. and noon. These sell out quickly, so make sure you have the app open and ready to go.

You do not have to be in the park to join the queue. In order to join the WEB Slingers queue, you need to select Disney California Adventure Park at the top of the screen.

Some of the coolest experiences in Avengers Campus are not the rides but the character interactions. Don't miss Spider-Man as he practices new tricks above the Worldwide Engineer Brigade's Open House.

WEB Slingers is an awesome interactive experience during which visitors can sling webs and help Spider-Man save the day-and score points along the way.

Those looking to take the game to the next level can personalize the experience with WEB Tech. Handheld web-slinging devices give you even cooler, customized superpowers during the WEB Slingers ride.

Since you only get one chance at the queue per day, make sure you hit up WEB Suppliers before your boarding group is called.

It wouldn't be an Ancient Sanctum without a magical floor. Once Doctor Strange's magic has unfolded, don't forget to snap a pic inside.

At Avengers Campus, everyone feels like a superhero, and visitors should be on the lookout for Wakanda's warriors who stroll the campus and provide training for new recruits.

The best place to find the Dora Milaje is in the courtyard near Avengers Headquarters.

Adults, assemble! Ant-Man and the Wasp aren't just using Pym Particles for fun-shaped food. There are fun-size, fun-flavored drinks, too. Stop in at the Pym Tasting Lab for pint-sized mini beer flights or cocktails such as X-Periment, Molecular Meltdown, Honey Buzz and Particle Fizz.

Don't miss the Iron Man Infinity Gauntlet at Pym Test Kitchen. It is the coolest way to hold a Coke.

Guests will find intergalactic sweets at Terran Treats near Guardians of the Galaxy-Mission: BREAKOUT! Taneleer Tivan has created a variety of weird and wonderful desserts served up at his food cart.

Visitors can take advantage of mobile ordering through the Disney app to eliminate wait times for food at Pym Test Kitchen, Pym Tasting Lab, Shawarma Palace and Shawarma Palace Too (located at Hyperion).

While superhero recruits need to be on campus at all times of the day, be sure to return to see the land lit up in spectacular fashion after dark. There is nothing like the sight of the Quinjet aglow or the magical lights of the Ancient Sanctum.
