The New and Improved Omni Barton Creek

1/10
Located in booming Austin, Texas amid scenic Hill Country roughly 20 minutes from the Texas Capitol, Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa is currently in the midst of a $150-plus-million renovation and expansion project that will transform it into one of the Lone Star State's premier destinations.

Coming this Spring

2/10
Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa is already accepting reservations for May 23, 2019 and beyond. Meanwhile, travel agents can wow their clients while earning commissions on qualifying rates booked on OmniHotels.com and even become an Omni specialist by enrolling in Omni University.

Welcome Home to Hill Country

3/10
The new Omni Barton Creek lobby is designed to emulate a classic Hill Country home living room. Brand new floor-to-ceiling windows and an inviting wrap-around porch will showcase stellar views of the region's unrivaled landscape while the new fireplace and sophisticated lobby bar will make this space a destination in and of itself.

New Restaurant Concepts

4/10
The Blind Salamander Kitchen & Bar will be among the resort's many new and enticing dining spots as it will offer guests 180-degree panoramic views from both inside the casual dining room and the outdoor patio. Quality ingredients and simple preparation will result in mouthwatering fresh fish and grass-fed meats.

Foodies Rejoice!

5/10
Another new restaurant concept guests are certain to fall in love with, Nopales will be located in an indoor/outdoor space leading out to the expanded poolscape. It will serve Latin-inspired small bites, lunch and dinner and showcase bright patterns and artwork as well as vibrant plants to create an authentic feel. Guests can also look forward to the new Crenshaw's sports lounge, the Texas Spice breakfast dining experience, Velvet Joe's Coffee Market and Jim Bob's lounge, among other dining offerings.

Inviting Poolscape

6/10
The new multi-tiered pool deck will comprise three expansive pools, including an infinity-edge pool overlooking Hill Country and the 18th green of the Fazio Foothills Golf Course. Nearby Nopales will complement the poolscape with delicious food and refreshing drinks while plenty of comfortable lounge seating will allow guests to make a day of it.

Versatile Pavilion

7/10
Once completed, the resort's new 5,556 square foot Pavilion will be among the most coveted wedding reception and group gathering venues in all of Texas. The windows can be opened to create a spacious but cozy indoor/outdoor space. What's more, the area will also feature an observation deck offering even more tremendous views as well as easy access to a pair of event lawns.

Mokara Spa and Enhanced Fitness Offerings

8/10
Omni Hotels & Resorts' signature spa brand, Mokara Spa, will make its highly anticipated debut at Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa in 2019. Inspired by Texas Hill Country and the calming waterways, creeks and springs that surround the resort, the 13,000-square-foot spa will be highlighted by a serene rooftop garden and adults-only pool overlooking gorgeous Hill Country. Meanwhile, the resort's new fitness center will include the Omni brand's largest-ever indoor pool, state-of-the-art workout equipment and a wide range of exciting classes from yoga to spin.

New Tower Rooms

9/10
The addition of a second resort tower will add 180 rooms boasting floor-to-ceiling windows offering sweeping views of the golf courses and surrounding Hill Country. Other highlights will include seamless glass, a 49-inch wall-hung TV, leather upholstered headboard, coffee bar and refrigerator. The resort's existing rooms will be updated to match the new tower guestrooms. There will be 493 guestrooms in all.

Upgraded Golf and Tennis

10/10
The resort recently kicked off a multi-year golf course improvement campaign focusing on substantial updates aimed to enhance course conditions, playability and overall enjoyment. The project began with the Fazio Foothills course, which now features expanded tee boxes, newly designed bunkers, a new irrigation system and other significant improvements. The Coore Crenshaw Cliffside and Fazio Canyons courses are also undergoing renovations. The new and improved courses will be complemented by a new golf pro shop featuring the latest apparel and golf equipment. The new-look resort will also boast a championship-caliber tennis center featuring 10 well-lit courts. Players will have access to top-flight instructors as well as a pro shop. The complex will host events ranging from competitive matches to classes for beginners.

Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa will relaunch in May 2019 following a $150-plus-million renovation and expansion in Hill Country just outside of Downtown Austin, Texas.
