COVID-19 case numbers in the U.S. continue climbing to unprecedented levels as Thanksgiving and the winter holidays grow nearer, but you can bet it won't stop plenty of Americans from leaving home to celebrate with friends and family out of state.
If you'll be among them, it's important to research what sort of restrictions and requirements for out-of-state travelers you can expect to encounter, especially as they can vary vastly. In many places, it depends upon where you're coming from, as well as where you're going, as states seek to prevent possible new cases coming in from areas of the country experiencing high infection levels.
