Delta Air Lines has officially opened the doors to its newest Sky Club, located at its home hub of Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport.
The new space is Delta’s eighth Sky Club location at ATL, and the second-largest at the airport, clocking in at 24,000 square feet and with enough room to seat 506 guests. That’s the largest number of seats of any of Delta’s lounges in Atlanta.
Located in Concourse D, the new lounge offers passengers a host of amenities, including a “theater-style media wall,” a 16-seat bar, six sound-proof phone booths, sweeping views of the airfield, as well as two beverage stations and a large food buffet.
In addition to comfortable amenities, the new Sky Club will also feature spiffy design elements, which the airline says are “inspired by the city’s Southern hospitality and urban elegance.” Customers can expect gracious features like an entryway paved in bricks, shutter screens, and coffered ceilings that nod to traditional Southern architecture, while more modern details like abstract art and slick light fixtures represent Atlanta’s cosmopolitan side.
“As the heart of our operation, Atlanta is more than just a hub—it's our home,” Claude Roussel, VP of Delta Sky Club and Lounge Experience, said in a statement. “This new space is thoughtfully designed to ensure that guests traveling through Atlanta feel the Southern hospitality of the city we know and love.”
The lounge can be found near gate D18 and is currently open to visitors from 6am to 10pm. Travelers can access the club if they are flying in Delta One, in business class with LATAM, or in another SkyTeam premium cabin; have Delta Diamond, Platinum, or Gold Medallion status or have SkyTeam Elite Plus status; hold a premium American Express credit card (including the Platinum or Centurion cards or the Delta Reserve); or have an annual Delta SkyClub membership.
Delta has several other big lounge openings on tap for 2025. The airline is slated to launch a new premium Delta One Lounge and a new Sky Club in Seattle later this year on the airport’s Concourse A, as well as a second Sky Club in Salt Lake City on Concourse B. In late 2025, the airline will expand its club location at Philadelphia’s airport and also expects to expand its Denver Sky Club location in 2026.
