Delta Suspends Flights to Tel Aviv Into 2025

Amid the ongoing conflict in the region, Delta has decided to extend its suspension of flights to Tel Aviv through at least March of the coming year.

According to an updated statement from the airline on its website, the carrier intends to maintain its pause on flights between New York-JFK and Tel Aviv through March 31, 2025.

“Delta is continuously monitoring the evolving security environment and assessing our operations based on security guidance and intelligence reports and will communicate any updates as needed,” the airline added.

Customers impacted by the schedule change will receive notifications via the Fly Delta app, and also via contact information provided during the reservation process, as the latest round of cancellations are processed by Delta, the airline said.

Delta added that customers should be prepared for possible adjustments to Delta’s TLV flight schedule, including additional cancellations on a rolling basis, moving forward.

A travel waiver has been issued for all customers who booked travel to or from TLV before March 31, 2025.    
Back in August, Delta announced that flights between New York-JFK and Tel Aviv would be paused through “due to ongoing conflict in the region.”

The carrier was among a growing number of airlines making similar announcements. American Airlines, for instance, announced on August 16 that it would not operate any flights between the U.S. and Israel until the end of March 2025.

Earlier that same month, United announced that it would suspend its flights to Tel Aviv for the foreseeable future, citing safety and security concerns.
