River cruise line AmaWaterways revealed a first look at its new luxury Nile River ship, the AmaNubia, which will set sail on the iconic waterway in November, 2026.
The ship will sail the Nile River along with the line’s other river ships, AmaLilia and AmaDahlia, the latter of which will be renovated, with sailings restarting in September, 2026.

The AmaNubia will accommodate just 76 guests across 38 staterooms, with 15 suite options. The half-sister ship to AmaLilia, it will be quite similar to the ship in terms of venues and amenities, but will have its own layout and design, inspired by the colors and textures of ancient Egypt.
While aboard, travelers will enjoy tasting locally inspired cuisine and the opportunity to learn from Egyptologists, who will provide guided exploration and engaging lectures throughout the cruise.

AmaNubia will sail the cruise line’s Secrets of Egypt & the Nile itinerary, which combines a pre-cruise hotel stay in Cairo with a luxury river cruise experience.

Along the way, travelers visit iconic sites like the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Great Sphinx, the Grand Egyptian Museum, Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, the Valley of the Kings and more, including an exclusive private visit to Abdeen Palace in Cairo.
For the land portion of the trip, travelers aboard the AmaNubia will stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence, while guests of the AmaLilia will stay at The St. Regis Cairo. AmaDahlia guests enjoy stays at The Ritz-Carlton, Cairo.
The AmaCleo, the next in AmaWaterways’ Nile River cruise ships, will debut in the fall of 2027.
