Azamara
Cruises, renowned for its immersive small-ship travel experiences and Destination
Immersion and Extended Destination Days, has just unveiled a new, upgraded
global reservation system known as RezA.
This new system is
designed to simplify the booking process for travel advisors, giving them
a more efficient and user-friendly tool to help sell Azamara cruises seamlessly
and manage client bookings. The launch of RezA aligns with the company’s
ongoing effort to strengthen its partnership with travel advisors through its
“Listening, Learning, and Linking” initiative.
“We never stop
looking for ways to better support our travel advisors, and are confident that
this update reflects their feedback and this commitment. Once educated on RezA,
advisors tell us how much they love the platform’s intuitive design to quickly
make a booking and how easy it is to use. It’s saving our advisors a phone call
and improving the way they interact with their clients, which is exactly what
they’ve asked for,” said Michelle Lardizabal, Azamara Cruises’ Chief Sales
Officer.
When it came time
to find a fitting moniker for the new platform, travel advisors had the
opportunity to suggest names through the “Name It to Win It” contest. With over
500 submissions, the final choice, RezAmara—later shortened to RezA—was
selected as the winning entry.
The development of
RezA was a collaborative effort, drawing insights and feedback directly from
travel advisors. Among the enhanced features designed to improve advisor
efficiency and user experience are the ability to send payment links directly
to clients, an expedited “Pay in Full” option for quicker commission payments
and advisor recognition at the booking stage. Other system tools help to
simplify group bookings, automate payment reminders, and allow for easy
duplication of reservations for groups or clients traveling together.
Advisors can
access RezA through Azamara’s dedicated travel advisor portal, which offers a
variety of tools and resources to help them enhance their client relationships.
The portal also features marketing content and assets that can be shared with
clients, and includes access to the relaunched Azamara World Academy. The
academy serves as a platform for travel advisors to deepen their understanding
of Azamara’s unique selling points, particularly its leading status in
Destination Immersion experiences.
To ensure a smooth transition to the new system,
Azamara is offering webinars and training sessions, allowing advisors to become
familiar with RezA’s functionalities. For more information, travel advisors are
encouraged to visit Connect.Azamara.com.
