Disney Announces Reopening Date for Typhoon Lagoon

Walt Disney World Resort has announced the reopening date for its Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.

The tropical oasis is slated to reopen on January 27, 2027.

Along with the reopening announcement, guests may purchase a Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass to visit Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park and use the pass to visit both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon multiple times through May 15, 2027, with the exception of the blockout dates of February 19-21 and March 20-38.

Typhoon Lagoon visitors can once again enjoy Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, North America’s largest wave pool, take on Crush ‘n’ Gusher, the rushing water coaster attraction, float along Castaway Creek, explore kid-sized adventures at Ketchakiddee Creek or just chill and relax on the park’s sandy beaches and in tropical hideaways.

Pricing for the Disney Water Park Seasonal pass runs $89 plus tax for ages 10 and older and $83 plus tax for ages 3 to 9 and includes 20% off same day rentals of Polar Patios and Beachcomber Shacks.

Additionally, Seasonal Passholders are invited to play one round of mini golf any day before 4 p.m. at Winter Summerland Miniature Golf and Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf.
