Scenic has unveiled new incentives for clients interested in river cruising in 2019. Newly announced are European and Russian river itineraries at 2018 prices. Additionally, the line is offering free flights to Europe or savings of up to $1,000 per person, and 50 percent off the single supplement.
The free airfare or $1,000 savings per person offer is available on European sailings of 12 days or longer, or sailings of any length on the Rhine River, the Danube River between Nuremberg-Budapest, or Russia's Volga River.
Guests on eight- to 11-day itineraries on any of the European itineraries receive either free flights (standard suites) or $495 flights (balcony suites) to Europe or can choose fare savings of $500 per person.
Solo travelers can receive 50 percent off the single supplement on any European sailing from April through November.
For clients interested in premium economy and business class fares, Scenic also offers reduced rates.
New for 2019 is an eight-day Seine itinerary. It commemorates the 75th anniversary of D-Day in Normandy, and sails from Paris and Honfleur as well as the English Channel. Guests will have the chance to walk the beaches of Normandy and visit the historic Normandy Cemetery. Other highlights include the medieval town of Conflans and Monet's residence and gardens in Giverny.
Departures take place from April through October.
