The deals are rolling out in time for the Cruise Lines International Association's annual week-long promotion. CLIA Cruise Week, set for Oct. 6-13, includes an array of deals and discounts on cruises that can be booked by participating travel agents. Here are the latest offers:
Holland America Line's Explore4 promotion offers four added-value extras when select 2015 and 2016 sailings are reserved. Those who book an ocean-view and higher category stateroom will get a free Signature Beverage Package, free Pinnacle Grill dinner, free or reduced cruise fares for third and fourth guests in the same stateroom, and 50 percent reduced deposits.
Those who book suites also receive a $300 onboard spending credit per stateroom and a free Canaletto dinner. Also, those booking select cruises through 2016 during CLIA Cruise Week also receive a special onboard credit. Depending on the length of the cruise and type of cabin booked, guests can receive up to a $400 per stateroom spending credit in addition to all four Explore4 offers.
Princess Cruises is offering discounted cruise fares, free pre-paid gratuities and onboard spending money on bookings from Oct. 2 through Oct. 14. The sale offers up to a 30 percent savings on cruises to the Caribbean, Mexico, Panama Canal, Hawaii and Asia.
Those who book during the cruise sale also will receive free pre-paid daily gratuities. Those booking a balcony, mini-suite or suite also will get a $50-per-person onboard spending credit. Examples of cruise deals: Seven-day Caribbean cruises are priced as low as $449.
Paul Gauguin Cruises offers agents who register and participate in CLIA Cruise Week a $100-per-person shipboard credit for new bookings on the Paul Gauguin and Tere Moana when booked by Nov. 15. The luxury line also offers savings of 50 percent off standard all-inclusive cruise fares on all voyages of both ships, plus included airfare from Los Angeles on Paul Gauguin itineraries.
MSC Cruises is offering balcony staterooms at ocean-view rates for select sailings in the Caribbean and Mediterranean, as well as a kids-sail-free offer for children age 11 and under. Those who book the new "Fantastica Experience" on select sailings get 12 complimentary drink vouchers.
As an extra promotion for booking in October, MSC Cruises is also offering pre-paid gratuities for MSC Divina seven-night Caribbean sailings between Oct. 18 and Dec. 13. The deals are available on new bookings throughout October on select sailings of the MSC Divina through October 2015 in the Caribbean and Mediterranean, as well as select sailings of MSC Splendida and MSC Fantasia on departures from November 2014 through April 2015 in the Mediterranean.
AmaWaterways is offering an additional $200 off all 2014 and 2015 river cruises booked Oct. 6-13. The $200 savings is combinable with current promotions.
Cunard Line is offering $175 in onboard credit to those who book select Queen Mary 2 trans-Atlantic crossings between May 10, 2015, and Jan. 3, 2016. The promotion opened Oct. 2 and is good until Oct. 14.
Blount Small Ship Adventures is offering a 15 percent early-booking discount to those who book any 2015 cruise before Oct. 31. The company's 88-passenger ships operate cruises along the East Coast, Canada/New England, the Great Lakes and more.
