Crystal Cruises is launching new themed cruises designed specifically for lovers of golf, Broadway, film and theater. The new voyages depart throughout 2024, whisking travelers to an array of ports around the world.
“We are thrilled to bring back our themed cruises, each tailored to provide an immersive and enriching experience for our guests and were extremely popular in the past," says Keith Cox, the cruise line’s vice president of entertainment. "Whether you're a fan of film and theater, a golf aficionado or a Broadway enthusiast, these voyages are designed to exceed expectations and create lasting memories for our guests."
The first cruise in the lineup is focused on film and theater. Running Feb. 16-28, the cruise aboard Crystal Symphony will start in Bangkok and end in Hong Kong. Along the way, guests will get to watch performances and mingle with experts, including musical theater actor Christine Allado and Broadway musical historian Steven Friedman.
Then, from July 18-30, Crystal Symphony will transport golf lovers from Lisbon to Dover aboard. That itinerary features golf instructors David Leadbetter and Roberto Borgatti, who will help guests work on their swings.
The final themed voyages of the year are designed with Broadway enthusiasts in mind. Crystal will offer two sailings in October aboard Crystal Serenity—one from Quebec City to New York City, and the other from New York City to Quebec City. Joining the sailing will be American actress and singer Rachel York, plus other to-be-announced guests.
