Crystal River Cruises will send its luxurious Crystal Bach on a new Moselle River itinerary in 2019. The 10-day Enchanting Moselle will depart roundtrip from Amsterdam and will run May 28 through December 24, 2019.
“The new Moselle voyages aboard Crystal Bach allow travelers to venture off the beaten path to less visited locales of remarkable beauty and fascinating history, with the added distinction as the only Moselle River itinerary with convenient travel round-trip from Amsterdam,” said Walter Littlejohn, vice president and managing director of Crystal River Cruises, in a press release.
“Innovative itineraries that explore new places, and offer new perspectives on longtime favorites, are a hallmark of the Crystal brand. With more experiences than ever included in the Crystal River fleet, this is the ideal time to branch out into new waters and continue broadening the scope of choices for our guests.”
Along the journey in Germany and the Netherlands, will be five fresh ports of call scattered throughout the Mosel Wine Region, home to world-renowned Rieslings and other vintages. Notable stops will include Trier for its Roman ruins, Cochem for Reichsburg Castle and Bernkastel itself.
Also branching out onto the Rhine River will be visits to Beethoven’s birthplace of Bonn; Dusseldorf, Germany; Arnhem, Netherlands, and Koblenz at the confluence of the Moselle and Rhine.

Overnight stays in Trier and Amsterdam will also allow guests a day trek to nearby Luxembourg or a deeper dive into Holland respectively.
The Crystal Bach is distinguished as an all-suite, all-butler, all-balcony riverboat with the industry’s greatest crew-to-guest ratio of 68 staff to 106 passengers. Standard suite sizes start at 253 square feet and increase in scale up to the 759-square-foot Crystal Suite.
In most categories, king-sized beds face panoramic balcony-windows, and there are walk-in closets and dual vanities in the bathrooms. Amenities also include robes and slippers, iPads and 42-inch, flat-screen HD televisions.

Onboard, guests will enjoy Crystal’s Michelin-inspired dining at the Waterside Restaurant, bistro cafes, Vintage Room and the Palm Court.
The new itinerary can be booked with a discount of up to $1,000 per suite thanks to Crystal’s Early Booking Savings if made by March 31, 2018.
As a whole, the Crystal portfolio encompasses Crystal Cruises, Crystal River Cruises, Crystal Yacht Expedition Cruises, Crystal AirCruises and Crystal Luxury Air. Crystal River Cruises will expand with the future launch of Crystal Debussy and Crystal Ravel, and Crystal Yacht Expedition Cruises will soon add the Crystal Endeavor. A completely new class of ocean cruise ships is also still scheduled for the original Crystal Cruises.
