European Waterways is offering discounts of up to $2,100 per cabin on select six-night barge cruises in France, England and Ireland, if booked by Aug. 31. European Waterways offers a minimum of 10 percent commission to travel agents.
The 12-passenger La Belle Époque sails in Burgundy and visits Chablis wineries, Abbaye de Fontenay and the village of Flavigny sur Ozerain, where the movie "Chocolat" was filmed. Some cabins are still available at up to $2,000 off for select August cruises, while fall travelers can get savings of $1,000 per cabin for select departures in October. The Renaissance, which accommodates up to eight passengers on its Burgundy cruise, is also offering $2,000 off per cabin for its Aug. 22 departure and $1,000 per cabin for select October cruises.
European Waterways also has summer and fall specials on select cruises in Burgundy, Gascony and the Midi regions of France, as well as on the Upper River Thames in England, in August, September and October. Discounts are $1,000 to $2,000 per cabin. Whole-boat charters are also available at 25 percent off for select cruises through the end of October in Burgundy, Gascony, the Scottish Highlands, England and Ireland. Theme cruises are available for a supplemental fee.
European Waterways cruises are six nights and include transfers to and from the barge at a designated meeting point, a master chef on every vessel, and open bar with a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
