Holland
America Line is teaming up with Sony offering guests an immersive new way
to experience Alaska’s awe-inspiring landscapes — through exclusive on-board
photography experiences and a curated photo contest designed to capture the
beauty of the Last Frontier.
“Alaska Through Your Lens” Photo Sweepstakes
As part of the collaboration, Sony and Holland America Line
will launch the “Alaska Through Your Lens” photo sweepstakes. Participants are
encouraged to embrace Alaska’s awe-inspiring landscapes, diverse wildlife and
natural wonders through their photography for a chance to win prizes at Sony
Alpha Universe, the company’s official online platform for photographers using
Sony Alpha cameras.

unparalleled wildlife and breathtaking glaciers that are the natural beauty of
Alaska. Our collaboration with Sony helps capture Alaska through the lens of

Consumers can sign up on a dedicated website
or enter via social media using the hashtags #AlphaHALcruise and #Sweepstakes.
Grand prize winners will receive a Holland America Line Alaska cruise for two,
a Sony Alpha 7R V camera, 70-200 mm F2.8 G Master II Lens, and 24-70 mm F2.8 G
Master II enhancement lens.

During Holland America Line’s 7-Day Alaska Inside Passage
Cruise onboard the Zaandam, on June 25, 2025, guests were offered insights and
hands-on practice with Sony equipment, led by Sony Artison, Colby Brown. A
condensed version will be available on stateroom TVs fleetwide.

Each cruise offers one “Glacier Day,” spotlighting the
glaciers of the region. The cruise line also provides more ways to see wildlife,
with the expertise of a wildlife spotting guide.
Highlights for 2025 Alaska Cruises
- 14-day “Great Alaska Explorer” itinerary offers
an in-depth adventure with eight Alaska ports, roundtrip from Vancouver,
Canada.
- 7-day “Northbound Glacier Discovery” and
“Southbound Glacier Discovery” itineraries cruise between Whittier (Anchorage),
Alaska, and Vancouver aboard Nieuw Amsterdam and Noordam.
- 7-day “Alaska Inside Passage” cruises sail
roundtrip from Vancouver on Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam and Zaandam.
- 7-day “Alaska Explorer” cruises sail roundtrip
