In January, HX Expeditions launched what it called its “Greenland Promise” to assure guests who were venturing to the world’s largest island that they could travel with confidence. The program assured travelers that in the unlikely case of their government advising against travel, or HX has to cancel the voyage, they could rebook to another expedition, receive a 20% additional future cruise credit, or simply choose a full refund.

Now, HX has announced that it is extending this popular program across all of its 2027 sailings, as well as launching a new YouTube storytelling series that will celebrate the island’s culture and diverse communities.
Now, the Promise extends across every one of HX’s sailings in 2026 and 2027, including dedicated East and West Greenland departures as well as broader expedition itineraries that feature the destination.
Sample itineraries in 2027 include:
• Serene Greenland—Exploring the largest fjord system on Earth, a 10-day all-inclusive cruise from Reykjavik.
• Discovering Greenland—From Reykjavik to Nuuk, a 13-day trip from Reykjavik to New York.
• Grand Greenland—The icy giants of Disko Bay, an 11-day all-inclusive experience with round-trip flights from New York.
• Arctic Island Odyssey—Iceland, Greenland, Svalbard; a 14-day grand tour of this part of the world, including an exploration of the largest national park and the grandest fjord.
The YouTube series, entitled Kalaallit: Portraits of Greenland, shares different perspectives from an assortment of authentic Greenlandic voices.

HX has also been active in Greenland through its HX Foundation, a charity organization. The foundation has worked to support a variety of community initiatives through a partnership with the Association of Greenlandic Children. For the past seven years, the partnership has supported youth programs, summer camps, and initiatives for children experiencing difficult circumstances and educational development—a critical need for the community. Together, these efforts have helped to create safe and supportive environments where young Greenlanders can build up their confidence, develop needed skills, and shape their futures.
