Margaritaville at Sea is bringing its newest ship to Galveston in October 2027.
Bookings are now open for Beachcomber’s voyages from the Texas port, with four- to seven-night cruises available.
The new sailings will offer a range of Caribbean and Mexico itineraries, including destinations such as Aruba, Key West, Curaçao, Grand Cayman, Montego Bay, Belize, Progreso, Roatán, Cozumel, Grand Bahama Island and Bimini. The lineup will also include Veracruz, Mexico, a new addition to the cruise options available from Galveston.
The ship is slated to debut in Miami in early 2027.
“Texas knows how to have a good time, so bringing Margaritaville at Sea to Galveston feels like a natural fit,” says Christopher Ivy, chief executive officer of Margaritaville at Sea. “With Beachcomber, we’re giving guests an incredible ship and more choices for where their vacation can take them, including places they simply can’t reach on other cruises from Galveston.”
Beachcomber will also introduce Margaritaville at Sea’s largest onboard experience to date, with more than 15 experiences created exclusively for the ship. Those will join existing Margaritaville favorites such as 5 o’Clock Somewhere, Hemisphere Dancer, Cheeseburger in Paradise and License to Chill.
Among the new venues is Same Boat, a live music venue created in collaboration with three-time GRAMMY Award winner Zac Brown. The artist-designed space is intended to capture the atmosphere of a Zac Brown Band concert, combining live performances with cocktails and a design inspired by Brown’s musical influences and style. Same Boat will also feature a roster of live performers selected specifically for the Texas market.
