Seabourn Encore Marks Milestone With US Debut

Seabourn Encore made its maiden arrival in the continental United States this week.

The moment marks a significant milestone as the ship docked for the first time in Long Beach, California, allowing local travel advisors and other guests the chance to see the ship for themselves.

Seabourn Encore will now head for Europe. Guests can look forward to a Panama Canal cruise and a transatlantic crossing ahead of a summer season of sailings to the Mediterranean and Adriatic Seas.

Beginning in November 2025, Seabourn Encore will sail westward to Japan, crossing multiple oceans and traversing more than 18,500 nautical miles.

"We are so proud to welcome Seabourn Encore to the continental U.S. for the first time as she continues her extraordinary season of travel," Seabourn President Mark Tamis said in a statement. "As she departs Long Beach, Seabourn Encore will take guests to explore the engineering marvel of the Panama Canal and the rich cultures in Mexico, Costa Rica and Colombia before sailing to the beautiful Adriatic and Mediterranean Seas."
