The Israel Ministry of Tourism expects a strong spring travel season as direct flights from the U.S. resume, and confidence in international travel strengthens.

“Israel will enter spring with renewed vitality, strengthened by the current ceasefire, the restoration of key flight routes and a lineup of meaningful cultural events that draw visitors from around the world,” said Yoram Elgrabli, North America Tourism Commissioner, Israel Ministry of Tourism.

Flight Updates

Delta will resume its Atlanta (ATL) and Boston (BOS) routes to Tel Aviv (TLV) in 2026. Atlanta service returns April 15 with three weekly flights, while Boston flights restart Oct. 24 with daily service. By April, Delta will operate 10 weekly flights to Israel.

United Airlines has also resumed flights to Tel Aviv from Chicago O’Hare (ORD) and Washington Dulles (IAD) in early November. United currently operates 21 weekly flights to Israel and plans to increase to 25 weekly flights in March 2026.

Spring Events in Israel

Purim is vibrant festival, featuring street parties, costume parades and late-night celebrations across Israel. Festivities range from Tel Aviv’s high-energy street raves and annual Zombie Walk to family-friendly celebrations in Jerusalem’s Safra Square and the long-running Adloyada parade in Holon.

The 15th International Jerusalem Winner Marathon is set for Friday, March 27, and offers a variety of races, including a full marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, a Family Race and a Community Race. Participants will encounter some of Jerusalem's landmarks including the ancient walls of the Old City, the Knesset and Hebrew University.

Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israel's Independence Day, brings nationwide events, including fireworks, parades and cultural celebrations following the official ceremony at Mount Herzl. Tel Aviv and Jerusalem also host large-scale festivities, with museums and parks offering special activities.
