"Seasons of Norway - A Time-Lapse Adventure" is a Vimeo staff pick, and soon you will see exactly why.
The video aims to show off the grandeur of Norway presented throughout the year, from the thawing of its prolific snow to the sprouting of its verdant landscape.
Morten Rustad (h/t Digg) did more than shoot and edit the following captivating video. He managed to show off what is now the next country on our must-visit list.
While just under seven minutes long, the nature highlight reel demanded a wealth of Rustad's time.
The filmmaker states: "Using time-lapse, this film attempts to capture the ebb and flow of the seasons and is a result of one year of planning, a second year of shooting and four months of editing."

Norway has long been one of our more treasured locations.
Last November, TravelPulse's Janeen Christoff covered Norway as the best place to witness the spectacle that is the Northern Lights, and we absolutely encourage you to use that natural phenomenon as the doorway to discover such a rich country.
But, as Rustad shows in all of seven minutes, Norway covers a wide swath of the visual spectrum. It's cold, dark and brooding. It's light, festive and flowery. It's everything that you want in a holiday venture.
If you weren't already impressed, Rustad explains just how extensive the endeavor became: "20,000 kilometers have been traveled, 200,000 photos taken and 20 terabytes worth of hard drives filled. Months have been spent hiking through the mountains, sleeping in tents and traveling through the entire country hunting for the best locations."
When you fall in love with something as beautiful as Norway we completely understand the extremes a filmmaker like this would go to in order to capture just a modicum of its magic.
