Vanity Fair (h/t Business Insider) reports not everyone was stoked when the good ship Trump descended on the Aspen area and opened up to reveal the president's progeny: Donald Jr., Ivanka, Eric and their respective families.
The trip was a ski vacation for Donald Trump's brood, though the festivities did not feature the youngest children, Tiffany and Barron, or parental figures President Trump and wife Melania.
Still, there was enough secret service in the area to satisfy a grand Trump family reunion. The Aspen Times states the party traveled with "about 100 Secret Service agents."
Vanity Fair's profile of the weeklong holiday makes it seem like the Trumps were as problematic as a gaggle of spring break revelers parading into the area. The publication spoke to one New Yorker who, like the Trumps, was vacationing in the lavish resort area.
This person didn't mince words: "They're everywhere. There are so many of them. Everyone is complaining. Everyone is annoyed."

The report also points to the normal headaches commensurate with a presidential party, even when a president isn't actually present: There were traffic jams, getting into various restaurants was a chore and actually meandering about Aspen's mountainous attractions was problematic.
While the above is to be expected when you have a highly protected family in the area, you don't often hear of impromptu protests, no matter how small.
Vanity Fair reports: "About 40 or so locals threw together a last-minute protest on Main Street-for 'All That Is Right and Good'-when they heard about the First Family's visit."
Nonetheless, the Trumps managed what looks to have been a wonderful holiday.
