<p><em>Photo via <a href='https://instagram.com/p/70mbxSnTVE/' target='_blank'>Instagram</a> </em></p><p>Actress Bella Thorne had a lot of time on her hands while recently stranded at New York's JFK Airport, so she decided to let Virgin Atlantic know how she felt about her predicament.</p><p>First let's take you back to this past weekend when a Virgin Atlantic airplane clipped one of its wings prior to taking off.</p><p>As <a href='http://www.cnn.com/2015/09/19/travel/virgin-atlantic-plane-wing-clip-feat/' target='_blank'>CNN</a> reported at the time, nobody was injured as the wing merely clipped a blast wall. Essentially, it was like hitting an overhanging branch when you back the car out of the driveway.</p><p>Only the branch was a wall in this case and the car was one gigantic airplane.</p><p>Well, wouldn't you know it, there were some famous people on the plane, armed with a ton of Twitter followers.</p><p><a href='http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3241383/London-bound-Virgin-Atlantic-plane-grounded-New-York-wing-clips-fence-JFK-airport.html?ito=social-facebook' target='_blank'>The Daily Mail's Regina F. Graham</a> reports Bella Thorne ("Shake It Up," "The DUFF," "Blended"), boyfriend Gregg Sulkin and model Bella Hadid were caught up in the malaise that is getting off an international flight before it has even started and waiting around for a solution.</p><p>As the report notes, the traveling triumvirate seemed absolutely tickled to have some time together as evidenced by this Instagram post:</p><p><iframe allowtransparency='true' frameborder='0' height='731' scrolling='no' src='https://instagram.com/p/70mbxSnTVE/embed/' width='630'>##</iframe></p><p>The caption reads: "A model, my handsome boy, and the freak in the middle ... Hmm ... What to do when your plane crashes into a fenced wall and you have 12 hours to kill at the airport?"</p><p>As seen on Thorne's Twitter feed, things quickly spiraled into the realm of frustration. Here is how things played out on Thorne's feed:</p><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' lang='en'><p dir='ltr' lang='en'>our flight crashed into a fence this morning so we had to get off and wait for another flight</p>- bella thorne (@bellathorne) <a href='https://twitter.com/bellathorne/status/645296908123041792'>September 19, 2015</a></blockquote><p><script async="true" src=' ' charset='utf-8'>##</script></p><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' lang='en'><p dir='ltr' lang='en'>just hoping this flight business gets sorted out to we can safely be on our way...all so tired from being stranded since 6 am</p>- bella thorne (@bellathorne) <a href='https://twitter.com/bellathorne/status/645339725545390080'>September 19, 2015</a></blockquote><p><script async="true" src=' ' charset='utf-8'>##</script></p><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' lang='en'><p dir='ltr' lang='en'>so virgin gets into an accident and leaves us stranded at the airport for 14 hours with no where to rest and no other options for flight.</p>- bella thorne (@bellathorne) <a href='https://twitter.com/bellathorne/status/645353784772722688'>September 19, 2015</a></blockquote><p><script async="true" src=' ' charset='utf-8'>##</script></p><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' lang='en'><p dir='ltr' lang='en'>by the way, there were several other flights and options on other airlines, in a normal situation, you would just get on another flight.</p>- bella thorne (@bellathorne) <a href='https://twitter.com/bellathorne/status/645360349621784576'>September 19, 2015</a></blockquote><p><script async="true" src=' ' charset='utf-8'>##</script></p><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' lang='en'><p dir='ltr' lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/VirginAtlantic'>@VirginAtlantic</a> i understand accidents happen but what i don't understand is why you would not just transfer me on to another flight? why</p>- bella thorne (@bellathorne) <a href='https://twitter.com/bellathorne/status/645360538646528000'>September 19, 2015</a></blockquote><p><script async="true" src=' ' charset='utf-8'>##</script></p><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' lang='en'><p dir='ltr' lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/VirginAtlantic'>@VirginAtlantic</a> would you leave me stranded at the airport? why not refund my one so i could get on another flight?</p>- bella thorne (@bellathorne) <a href='https://twitter.com/bellathorne/status/645360690685865984'>September 19, 2015</a></blockquote><p><script async="true" src=' ' charset='utf-8'>##</script></p><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' lang='en'><p dir='ltr' lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/bellathorne'>@bellathorne</a>: <a href='https://twitter.com/VirginAtlantic'>@VirginAtlantic</a> I have dm'd you and hoping we can have something done about this and prevent others from this sort of issue</p>- bella thorne (@bellathorne) <a href='https://twitter.com/bellathorne/status/645370972950761472'>September 19, 2015</a></blockquote><p><script async="true" src=' ' charset='utf-8'>##</script></p><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' lang='en'><p dir='ltr' lang='en'>.<a href='https://twitter.com/VirginAtlantic'>@VirginAtlantic</a> has apologized for the inconvenience today, they will look into what happened and try to avoid this situation in the future</p>- bella thorne (@bellathorne) <a href='https://twitter.com/bellathorne/status/645477785683689472'>September 20, 2015</a></blockquote><p><script async="true" src=' ' charset='utf-8'>##</script></p><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' lang='en'><p dir='ltr' lang='en'>Thank you <a href='https://twitter.com/Delta'>@Delta</a> for a great flight ÿ<›Ïÿ<›Á hello London</p>- bella thorne (@bellathorne) <a href='https://twitter.com/bellathorne/status/645502897707352064'>September 20, 2015</a></blockquote><p><script async="true" src=' ' charset='utf-8'>##</script></p><p>Thorne explained to Mail Online that her tweets were as much about helping out her fellow travelers as it was getting her buddies back across the pond.</p><p>The report reads: "Speaking to Mail Online, Thorne shared she tweeted about her experience because she knows other customers were affected by the airline's actions.</p><p>She said that the airline apologized to her, but did not offer her a refund and instead booked her on a flight that departed JFK later in the evening on Saturday."</p><p>Thankfully, passengers were unharmed, save the cramping and emotional duress experienced when you stay more than a few hours at JFK.</p><p>We look forward to Virgin Atlantic successfully backing out of the driveway from here on out.</p>
