The only thing missing from the following video of a Buckingham Palace guard falling is possibly "Yakety Sax."

We hope to remedy that shortly.

Mashable reports on a video that proves your bad day at work is hardly the horrible day this gentleman just had. Because no matter how awful the start of your week has been, it didn't involve hundreds of onlookers or countless lookie-loos on the Internet.

The above image is not of a new performance-art initiative at Buckingham, which asks guards to bust out their best moves. Instead, it's the initial throes of one man falling to the ground while the world watches.

Feel free to watch along:

Now watch the above video while playing this song:

That ends our best effort to make the world a better place.

The Telegraph spoke with the man who captured the entire fall on video. David Meadwell offered the following to the publication: "I was with my family for a trip to London and I thought I'd take some pictures of the changing of the guards."

Meadwell continued to The Telegraph: "I didn't expect anything like this to happen - he went flying. There were quite a few people around and there were a lot of gasps as he went down. I think he just slipped on a manhole cover, he looked so embarrassed."

Essentially this has to be in the top five of guards' worst fears while marching in public. When most of us fall, and we all have, we consider who in the immediate area might be watching.

It's like time stands still long enough for us to consider how embarrassing this tumble to the ground might be.

For this poor guard who has yet to be named, he knew full well that eyes, cameras and recorders were all pointed on him and his sudden fall to the palace ground.

We say chin up, because we give the performance a 9.8 for form and a 10.0 for execution. You managed to keep your dignity with what really was the most sophisticated fall at the Changing of the Guard that we have seen.

In any case, the Queen may want to consider putting pillows down outside just in case.
