Disney’s first-ever residential development, Cotino, a Storyliving by Disney community, released its first look at the plan, with over 300 homes in California’s Coachella Valley.
Cotino will offer a range of home types and lot sizes, with one-third apportioned for residents aged 55+. Three single-family home collections are split by size: the smallest is the Cottage Collection, the medium is the Grand Collection, and the Estate Collection features the largest lots. Longtable Park Residences will be the 55+ community.

The development will offer a lifestyle and community-centric approach, with plenty of walking paths and communal areas, such as Cotino Bay or the neighborhood’s dog park, Laughing Place Ranch.
Lifestyle activities include an Artisan Club membership, a beach area, water activities and even a town center with shopping and dining.
“We’re thoughtfully and intentionally bringing elements to the community to encourage camaraderie among neighbors while also using our renowned Disney placemaking to weave the essence and beauty of the Coachella Valley into the fabric of the community,” said Claire Bilby, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Signature Experiences Emerging Businesses. “Alongside the developer and builders, we’re creating a special place where residents will have a distinctive lifestyle that can only be found in the Cotino community.”
The development is entering its first phase; more details will be released at a later date. Cotino was first announced in February, 2022.
