Following the sold-out Oceans Calling Festival in Maryland, the second rendition of the popular festival, Oceans Calling Second Wave, will be held this January at the Moon Palace Resort in Riviera Cancun, with headliners like Fall Out Boy, Weeze, Incubus and Cage The Elephant.
Other performers include Rebelution, 311, O.A.R., Jack’s Mannequin and Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness.
Travel packages are available to book beginning Friday, August 2 at 2:00 p.m. ET for the festival, which begins on January 19 and ends on January 22, 2025. Packages include luxury resort accommodations, access to the oceanfront concert area, round-trip airport transportation, unlimited drinks, daily pool parties, late-night performances, 24-hour room service and more.
Travelers who book 2-, 3- or 4-night packages only need to arrange their airfare; once they land in Cancun, Playa Luna staff will be there to handle transfers to the AAA Four Diamond Moon Palace Resort.
The festival is an immersive one: daytime poolside sets from O.A.R. and Los Stellarians bring the heat to festival-goers, while late-night performances from 311 and others ensure the party goes on long after the stars come out.
The festival is going to be single-use plastic-free, and all waste made from the event will be sorted and diverted from the landfills in an effort towards sustainability.
"Oceans Calling is all about delivering unforgettable music experiences, and we’re excited to take it abroad with Oceans Calling Second Wave," said Tim Sweetwood, Festival Director for C3 Presents. "Inspired by the enthusiastic response and sold-out success of our Maryland festival, we're collaborating with Playa Luna to deliver a non-stop, all-inclusive event.”
