We've all been there.
It's late at night, you've just landed and now you're desperate to deplane and get home to your own bed as soon as humanly possible.
But then, for whatever reason, you are delayed getting off the plane and frustration sets in.
What do you do? Fire up your smartphone and send off a nasty tweet? Pass the time commiserating with fellow passengers?
Or you could just open up the emergency exit and attempt to leave via the wing. Naturally.
Yep, a Polish man has established himself as the early front-runner for the "Dimwitted Traveler of the Year" award after he got fed up with waiting on the tarmac and decided to go wing-walking.
The incident happened just after 11pm on New Year's Day after a Ryanair flight landed in Malaga, Spain.
The flight had departed London an hour later than originally scheduled and after touching down in Spain, the passengers were stuck on board for approximately 30 minutes without receiving an explanation for the delay.
That's when the gentleman, who calls Malaga home, decided to take matters into his own hands.
(Hey, he gave them a half-hour.)

Fernando Del Valle Villalobos, a passenger on the flight, told the Mail Online:
"This man decided he wasn't going to wait any longer. He activated the emergency door and left, saying, 'I'm going via the wing'. It was surreal."
Sur-really stupid.
Mr. Del Valle Villalobos, who recorded a video of the incident on his phone added:
"He was sat on the wing for quite a while until the crew managed to get him back inside."
On the video, a passenger can be heard calling him a "star" in apparent approval of this highly unorthodox maneuver.
Mr. Del Valle Villalobos also said: "I don't know why he did it. He must have just lost it and it was the first thing that came into his head."

Others have speculated that he was suffering from an asthma attack and simply needed some fresh air.
Another passenger has stepped forward saying that the Polish man had used an inhaler several times during the flight, saying:
"I was talking to him throughout the flight and there was a few times he was using his inhaler. He also took medication just before the flight took off. When he used his inhaler the second time, A asked him if he is OK, he replied he's OK, he hates flying and struggles to breathe."
Regardless of the circumstances, Spanish Civil Guard officers documented the incident and the passenger is expected to face a considerable fine for the stunt.
This may be the first incident involving a Ryanair passenger of 2018, but if last year is any indication, it probably won't be the last.
2017 featured rowdy Ryanair passengers forcing a flight to be diverted due to drunkenness before fighting police, a crazy crew chanting terrorist slogans "as a joke" and a couple having sex in plain view of a packed plane.
This is to say nothing of the airline's internal issues that caused them to cancel thousands of flights last year.
