Furnace debacles, Bumpus' greedy dogs and Red Ryder wishes: You could say A Christmas Story has everything.

There is a reason we look forward to watching 24-hour coverage of the iconic movie every year on TBS. It's hilarious, heartwarming, and targets that nostalgic bone we loved scratched every year at this time.

It's that one movie that we can start at any point in the film and not feel completely lost. With so many unforgettable scenes, you can feel at ease watching a few minutes to experience any number of holiday escapades over and over again.

Besides the obvious and vibrant characters, the house remains one of the more familiar items from the 1983 classic.

And wouldn't you know it, you can actually walk through the home like Ralphie and his little, bundled-up brother Randy.

Now IMDB has the details on a movie that was shot in Cleveland as well as Toronto. Unfortunately, you can't enjoy the full sense of Higbee's in Cleveland. However, Movie-Locations.com states a sign still lives on the building that once played a department store in the movie: "It's still labeled Higbee's, but the first three floors now house offices."

As for the house, that's a different matter. Positively Cleveland stopped by for a tour in 2010:

Indeed, fans of the movie, which have to number in the millions, now have the opportunity to visit the actual A Christmas Story House at 3159 W 11th St. in Cleveland (Ohio).

The website declares you can visit seven days a week all year, save major holidays. So those in the area have a few more opportunities before watching the film yet again during what is an unofficial national binge-watching session of the movie.

The following YouTube video shows off some of the surrounding locations, including Toronto's Magder Studios, where interiors were shot.

Now the Christmas Story House website is full of factoids and goodies from the film, including more on those other locations outside the house that were used.

For example, the Christmas dinner scene was shot in Canada: "The scene for Chinese Turkey at Bo' Ling Chop Suey Palace was filmed in Toronto, Canada. It is still a restaurant but now serves French Food."

The museum seems determined to be about far more than one movie, because they also sell memorabilia from 1989's Christmas Vacation.

As mentioned in the Positively Cleveland video, the house was previously used as a rental unit, bought in 2004 and opened anew for film buffs to enjoy in 2006.

Now it sits comfortably in Cleveland as a tiny house with tremendous value to those who can't get enough of the movie.
