Officials from Universal Orlando Resort announced the 2018 edition of Halloween Horror Nights will feature a maze themed after the hit movie Trick 'r Treat.
Starting on September 14, guests visiting the Orlando theme park will be transported to Warren Valley, Ohio, on Halloween night where they will be fully immersed into the world of Trick 'r Treat.
Fans of the film will recognize the maze's recreation of the most iconic scenes as visitors celebrate the holiday's dark traditions. With the attraction featuring some of Trick 'r Treat's familiar characters, including Mr. Kreeg, the college werewolves and Sam, the spirit of Halloween.
Halloween Horror Nights has been thrilling fans for more than 25 years, with the 2018 edition running from September 14 to November 3. Universal Orlando is offering a "Buy a Night, Get 2nd Night Free" package, which gives travelers an opportunity to book a night at the October event by June 6 and receive an additional pass on any Sunday through Friday event night.
This year's Halloween festivities will feature nine all-new haunted houses and five sinister scare zones throughout the park, including a Dead Exposure: Patient Zero haunted house and a maze based on Netflix's Stranger Things.
Universal Orlando also announced the hotel and ticket packages for Halloween Horror Nights, which start at $215 per adult, per night. The packages include four-night hotel accommodations at Cabana Bay Beach Resort or one of the resort's other on-site hotels, including Aventura Hotel which opens August 2018, or a Universal Partner Hotel.
