Now get on out there and request away. The comments section on Reddit even purport some staff who are happy to field some of your more interesting requests.

One comment states: "I always like getting these silly requests, puts a little fun in our day at the front desk. As long as it's not too crazy, of course. I got my first fort request about a year ago, we put snacks and a flashlight in there too."

Back in January 2015, we noted San Antonio's Hotel Indigo meeting a most absurd request to have a room decorated with Nicolas Cage pictures.

If you are struggling for things to request perhaps ask for a poster from the movie "The Last Starfighter" or a life-size poster of Kelly Kapowski.

According to the above examples, staff are willing and capable of just about anything.
