A world of luxury awaits at Secrets Royal Beach in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, an all-inclusive resort located on the Caribbean Sea with a beautiful sugar-white sand beach and lush palm trees.
This adults-only AAA Four Diamond resort has a romantic feel with secluded pools, heavenly two-floor beach cabanas, picturesque landscaping and modern, chic rooms.
The 639-room resort was the recipient of a $36 million renovation in 2020, which added 90 new guestrooms including suites with private pools, marble floors and hydro tubs. The refurbishment also added several new restaurants, bars and pools, including an Olympic-size pool with an adjacent lazy river and swim-up bar.
The Secrets Resorts & Spas property features reservation-free gourmet restaurants, premium cocktails, casino gaming, a worldclass spa and a seemingly endless number of daytime and nighttime entertainment options – and it’s just 8.75 miles from the Punta Cana International Airport.
Accommodations
The 639 luxurious rooms are divided into 20 categories, with booking options for tropical, ocean or partial ocean view accommodations. Many of the ground-floor guestrooms have the option of a private pool.
The most popular option is the 430-square-foot Junior Suites, which have one king-size or two double beds, resort view, marble bath with shower and hot tub, and a furnished balcony or terrace. Rates start at $240 per person, per night, according to the resort’s website in mid-July.

Preferred Club Junior Suites, which measure 581square feet, include upgraded amenities, access to an exclusive lounge with premium liquors, concierge service and other enhanced amenities.
For clients who won’t travel without their pup, Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana will welcome dogs under 22 pounds for an additional $65 per day. Contact the resort directly to confirm necessary room category to book. Guests staying with their canine companions receive a welcome letter with guidelines and restrictions, dog bed, food and water bowls on a floor mat, toys, plastic bone and waste bags.
What’s For Dinner?
Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana has eight restaurants and 11 lively bars/lounges. The Bluewater Grill features a great selection of gourmet a la carte grilled specialties; Bordeaux, a formal restaurant, focuses on French cuisine; Himitsu offers pan-Asian cuisine with a sushi bar and teppanyaki tables, El Patio Mexican Restaurant serves up traditional Mexican food and drinks, while Olio Restaurant puts the spotlight on Mediterranean and seafood dishes. Twenty-hour dining is also available.

The resort offers poolside and beachfront waiter service and unlimited access to the adjacent Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana, which is home to seven additional restaurants and 11 bars.
