On May 28, AAA announced that several new hotels and restaurants will join its lineup of Four Diamond properties.
The Four Diamond status is awarded by AAA to hotels and restaurants that offer upscale amenities and fine dining as well as hold up to AAA's standards of Cleanliness, Comfort, Cuisine, and Consistency.
The status is awarded throughout the year, with about 1,700 hotels and 500 restaurants currently holding the AAA Four Diamond status.
The newest properties set to join the AAA Four Diamond lineup include United States-based locations such as Big Sky's Cortina, which will become the first and only AAA Four Diamond restaurant in Montana.
Others added include the Omni San Diego Hotel in San Diego, California; Plaza San Antonio Hotel & Spa Autograph Collection in San Antonio, Texas; Rockport Harbor Hotel in Rockport, Maine; and Maison Sun in Brooklyn, New York.
Additionally, new international locations were also added to the AAA Four Diamond lineup, including Hideaway at Royalton Blue Waters An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort in Falmouth, Jamaica; and Paradisus Grand Cana All Suites and Paradisus Palma Real Gold & Spa Resort, both located in also in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
