Families considering a trip to the all-inclusive Allegro Cozumel or Occidental Cozumel resorts will want to take advantage of the newest promotion from the Barcelo Hotel Group that lets two children up to 12 years old stay free.
This offer is good on bookings made now through June 30, 2017, for travel through Dec. 22, 2017.
Families can take advantage of all the many amenities, including unlimited food, drinks and snacks-a boon for families with young children-at any of the Allegro Cozumel's five restaurants and bars.
During the day, families can enjoy swimming at the resort's three freshwater pools, and take advantage of a host of non-motorized water sports.
When not making the most of the resorts many water-related activities, guests can make use of three tennis courts, beach volleyball, soccer, ping pong, darts and a giant chess board, as well as air hockey, foosball and pool tables.
Adults will enjoy some downtime at the property's spa and fitness center, or even a soak in the Jacuzzi, while children enjoy their own activities at the Joy Kids Club. There's even a pirate-themed waterpark and playground for those mateys looking to walk the plank or find buried treasure. After a rigorous day of sun and fun, adults can retire to the disco or enjoy any number of nightly entertainment options.
Guests of the Occidental Cozumel, meanwhile, have just as many options, including seven restaurants (with one pizzeria, two buffets, three a la carte eateries and one exclusively for Royal Level guests).
During the day, families can enjoy playing tennis or indulge in non-motorized water sports, such as snorkeling, kayaking, sailing and windsurfing. The resort offers three pools--one for adults only, one just for kids and a third activities pool.

When not spending time together, kids ages four to 12 will enjoy themselves at the Flip Kids Club, while parents relax in the sauna and hydro-massage tub, as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center. The resort also offers shows and entertainment options throughout the day and evening.
What's more, the Occidental at Xcaret Destination has released its calendar of events for the remainder of year. Be sure to check out what fun things are in store. Among this summer's highlights are a dessert prep and tasting event for children on July 19, and two tastings in August-wine and tapas, and paella. The fall brings Mexican Independence Day, Halloween and the Day of the Dead celebration before December rolls in the Christmas festivities.
Meanwhile, the Barcelo Bávaro Grand Resort has announced three new South Asian Wedding packages in addition to the complimentary package, which is offered upon booking 40 double rooms for three nights each.
The Samsara Package ($4,500) includes basic henna for the bride; basic wedding decorations, flowers and set up; a private dinner reception for up to 50 guests and special wedding day offers, among others. The Shri Package ($8,300) includes a Sangeet, as well as a host of amenities surrounding the wedding ceremony and reception. In addition to many of the amenities provided with the Shri Package, the Mantra Package ($14,000) includes a Mehendi and other touches to make the bride and groom feel special.
