Marriott International’s Moxy Hotels brand opened Moxy Tulum—its first property in the Mexican destination—in tandem with a global Marriott Bonvoy promotion.
The 122-room hotel is set across from the National Jaguar Park, a stone’s throw away from the Tulum archaeological site, shopping areas, beaches and galleries.
“Guestrooms are cleverly designed to balance function and fun, featuring modular furniture and smart layouts, including 55 Double–Double Rooms with two Queen Beds, and rooms equipped with Twin bunks ideal for friends and families,” Marriott said.
Moxy Tulum features a number of high-tech elements, including motion-activated LED lighting, keyless entry, and free Wi-Fi.
“Expanding our global footprint with the vibrant Moxy brand in Tulum marks an exciting milestone,” said Brian King, President, Caribbean and Latin America, Marriott International.
“Tulum’s captivating mix of natural beauty, rich culture, and bohemian spirit aligns perfectly with Moxy’s bold, playful vibe—making it an ideal destination for our next chapter,” he added.
Meanwhile, Marriott Bonvoy's new global promotions enable members to earn 2,025 bonus points on as many as three stays, as well as 2,000 more points for each stay with the new Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors platform.
The promotion is valid from October 28, 2025, to January 10, 2026, for registered Marriott Bonvoy members.
Registration opened on October 14 and closes on December 27, 2025.
