Hotel and resort giant Marriott is poised to make its all-inclusive debut in the Dominican Republic in early 2025.Marriott will convert the former Sunrise Miches Beach Resort into the 498-room Marriott Miches Beach Resort, An All-Inclusive Resort beginning in the second quarter of 2024, Travel Weekly reported.Situated in the burgeoning Miches area on the Caribbean country's northeast coast about an hour from Punta Cana, the beachfront resort will feature guestrooms equipped with balconies or terraces in addition to swim-up accommodations, six restaurants, multiple bars and a trio of pop-up venues.Guests can also look forward to several pools, a spa, a gym, a nightclub, a retail area and roughly 8,600 square feet of indoor meeting space.Marriott just recently entered the all-inclusive space with the family-friendly Marriott Cancun and has plans to expand the All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy portfolio in the coming years with the rollout of Marriott Puerto Vallarta and Marriott Djerba in Tunisia.
