The unique property is being designed in the shape of a circle, which is the universal symbol of wholeness and perfection, the company said.
The Grand Reserve is aiming to give guests the most luxurious experience in Punta Cana, with its new accommodations ranging in size from 800 to more than 3,000 square feet.
Suites feature either one or two bedrooms and a variety of amenities including living and dining spaces suitable for entertaining. The suites also include independent soaking tubs and walk-in showers, as well as private balconies with hydro-massage whirlpool tubs and outdoor living spaces.
The Grand Reserve's swim-up suites meanwhile offer one or two-bedroom accommodations and have direct access to an exclusive pool, complete with lush garden areas and solarium.
Among the property's seven new restaurant concepts is a ceviche bar that will feature fresh signature ceviches, pokes, and Tartars. A modern steakhouse with open-format kitchen and an Asian-inspired concept featuring fresh sushi rolls will be available to guests, while a Cigar Bar, where guests will have access to some of the best cigars in the Caribbean, is also planned.
The new resort will also include an additional 144 suites for members of Circle by Melia, creating a total of 432 suites in the entire building.

It will offer 14 treatment rooms and a relaxation room, featuring products by the high-end Spain-based beauty line Natura Bissé. The spa will also offer signature services using avant-garde techniques with new technology.
In addition to all of the amenities offered at The Grand Reserve, guests will be able to Stay at One & Play at Three, which means they will have complete access to the extensive property offerings at both The Reserve and Paradisus Palma Real.
