The Universal Orlando Resort announced the names of the two new hotels Thursday.
Though the plans for the complex were first announced in November, travel agents and clients will be happy to know the Surfside Inn and Suites and Dockside Inn and Suites are coming to Universal's Endless Summer Resort in 2019 and 2020.
The construction and development of the two new hotels will be another step in the ongoing partnership between Universal and Loews Hotels. The Endless Summer Resort will offer guests affordable prices, with rates starting as low as $73 per night.
As the first facilities to be introduced as part of Universal Orlando's Value hotel category, the resort complex will mix affordability with the exclusive benefits that visitors would receive staying at any hotel operated by the theme park.
Some of the perks guests staying at the Surfside and Dockside Inn and Suites can enjoy include early park admission and free shuttle transportation to and from Universal's three theme parks and CityWalk.
The family-friendly hotels will feature a combined 2,800 guest rooms, including 1,450 two-bedroom suites designed to accommodate families of all sizes. Prices for the suites start at $111 per night.
The Surfside Inn and Suites will be the first hotel at the Endless Summer Resort when it debuts in the summer of 2019. Then in 2020, the Dockside Inn and Suites will open its doors to guests.
While a specific date hasn't been set, Universal officials said travel agents will soon be able to book accommodations at the new hotels for their clients.
