On Thursday night, a man in Nebraska scaled an airport fence, stripped down to his boxers, managed to steal an unattended pickup truck and crashed it into a Southwest Airlines aircraft at high speed.
According to NBCNews.com, the suspect was seen by a local police office at Eppley International Airport in Omaha, Nebraska. First simply acting suspicious at around 9:30 p.m. local time, the man then ran through a parking garage and scaled a barbed-wire fence.
Once over the fence, the suspect found a truck owned by Southwest Airlines that had its engine running and jumped in. Police stopped him from driving under a jet bridge, forcing the man to smash into the nose of a Southwest Airlines aircraft, as it was getting ready to takeoff for Denver with 18 passengers then on board.

The only injuries reported were a slight knee injury to the pilot and a bumped elbow from one of the flight attendants.
Police quickly arrested the man and brought him into custody. Both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National Transportation Safety Board will be conducting an investigation as a result of the incident.
Omaha Airport Authority police chief Tim Conahan said the suspect's actions indicate "some type of drug overdose or that he has mental issues."
