Sunday's deadly attack on a country music festival crowd in Las Vegas, which left 59 people dead and hundreds more injured, has the travel world asking, what's next?
TravAlliancemedia President and CEO, Mark Murphy spoke on the topic during an appearance on Fox News' "Your World with Neil Cavuto" Monday, hoping to provide clarity and reassurance for the industry and its clients.
"Vegas is the convention capital of the world so I don't think you're going to see any dropoff there," said Murphy, noting the lone wolf nature of the attack.
"What we found with the American traveler is that they're very resilient. I think the demographic that goes to Las Vegas is a very resilient demographic as well," he added.

So far, Murphy says travel agents are working on communicating with their clients and haven't experienced a dramatic withdrawal from the destination.
"Speaking to some of the folks who send a lot of people to Vegas, right now they're concentrating on responding to customers on the ground and they're not seeing a string of cancellations or anything like that at this point in time," said Murphy.
"I think you're going to see Vegas get right back into business as usual."
