AmaWaterways is extending its free pre- or post-cruise land package promotion for select European river cruises in 2024 and 2025. The deal is now available for new bookings made through June 30.
The Calabasas, California-based river cruise line is also extending its Summer Triple Savings and Holiday Triple Savings promos through June 30.
Guests who want to extend their vacation can choose between 20 free two-, three- and four-night land packages to add on before or after their river cruise. The land packages, which are led by a cruise manager, include hikes, museum visits, city tours, tastings and other activities, plus a stay at a 4- or 5-star hotel in the heart of the city. Travelers can also enjoy daily breakfast at the hotel, transfer and luggage service.
The promo is combinable with AmaWaterways’ fixed-price airfare offer, called AirPlus, which gives travelers economy tickets for $899, premium economy for $2,299 or business class for $4,299 per person from major U.S. airports.
“AmaWaterways river cruises offer the choice of up to 23 included excursions which provide our guests wonderful opportunities to fully dive into local cultures and authentic experiences,” says Kristin Karst, executive vice president and co-founder of AmaWaterways. “Our pre- and post-cruise land packages are meant for guests to discover yet another city during their vacation.”
The complimentary land packages are available on a wide array of itineraries, including “Paris & Normandy” and “Rhine & Moselle Splendors,” which allow guests to spend more time in the popular City of Light.
“Paris is captivating the world's attention with the upcoming Summer Olympics and we anticipate a surge in travel to this iconic city in 2025,” says Karst.
Or, guests sailing on AmaWaterways’ ”Enticing Douro and Flavors of Portugal & Spain” itinerary can spend a few extra days in Lisbon before or after their cruise.
