Pre-bookings are now open for Emerald Cruises’ 2027 European river cruise season.
It’s the earliest release in the brand’s history, as demand for river cruises continues to grow. It’s an ideal time for travel advisors to access the line’s most in-demand itineraries, suite categories and charter opportunities, especially if they’re making group bookings.
“Travelers are booking further out and seeking fresh ways to experience Europe with comfort and style,” said Ken Muskat, President of Scenic Group, USA/LATAM. “The debut of Emerald Lumi on the Seine, alongside our expanded 2027 river program, reflects Emerald’s modern approach to river cruising: luxury ships, included comforts and more freedom to explore.”
Travelers will be able to sail with Emerald Cruises on France’s Seine and Rhône rivers, Portugal’s Douro River, the Moselle River and the Rhine-Main-Danube corridor, with sailings running February through December. Seasonal sailings are also available, offering a front-row seat to colorful springtime blooms along the Rhine to festive holiday markets along the Danube.
In March 2027, Emerald Cruises will welcome a new ship on the Seine: Emerald Lumi. Then, in May 2026, Emerald Astra will make her debut.
The company is also offering expanded programming across the Douro, Rhine, Main and Danube rivers, including the option to link multiple river cruises, add land extensions or pair a river sailing with Emerald’s luxury yachts in the Mediterranean or Adriatic.
