Grenada Dive Operator Unveils Wreck Week

From Nov. 8 to 15, Aquanauts, a Grenada-based dive operator, will focus on the large portfolio of wrecks sunk around Grenada's coast. From the wreck of the Bianca C cruise ship to the beautifully covered Veronica L, the waters around Grenada are loaded with wrecks of all sizes and shapes in all depth. An abundance of marine life may be encountered from large eagle rays and sharks, turtles to small critters such as frog fish and seahorses -- all seeking the wrecks as their habitat. Participants will be able to video and photograph these artificial reefs from inside and out, producing a comprehensive virtual guide of all wrecks around Grenada. The results will be shown every evening at the Dodgy Dock Bar for judging. For each wreck there will be a best video and a best slide show chosen, which will be included in the final Grenada Wreck DVD.
