Travel Impressions will launch its first #OnLocaTIon Destination in Puerto Rico. The social media takeover will take place June 18-22 and include an adventure-focused itinerary highlighting San Juan and Puerto Rico's allure to travelers.
Travel agents can follow the action in #TheRealPuertoRico through the hashtag #OnLocaTIon on Facebook and Instagram and receive firsthand insight into the region, enabling them to more effectively sell all the destination has to offer.
Travel Impressions will use the San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino as a home base for its journey and focus on a new excursion in the nearby and immediate area each day.
The action-packed itinerary, prepared by Dragonfly Adventures and the Puerto Rico Tourism Company, include a broad perspective of the current state of touristic areas in the Caribbean destination.
Those following #OnLocaTIon will virtually be able to experience kayaking bioluminescent bays, ziplining at Toro Verde, the Guinness World Record holder for the longest zipline in the Americas, and more.
Agents will be able to see how Puerto Rico's abundance of nature has grown back through visits to El Yunque National Forest and secret local spots accessible only to those in the know.
The journey will also give agents a peek at the island's Instagrammable beaches, San Juan's most exclusive dance clubs, the hottest nightlife districts, meals at gourmet restaurants and other local treats.
